Re:      St. Luci e  Uni t 1 Docket No. 50-335 Proposed Amendment to Facility Operating License DPR-67: Beach Dune Surve Re ort In accordance with 10 CFR 5550.90 and 50.30 Florida Power 8 Light (FPL) herewi th submits three originals and 40 copies of a request to Appendix A to Operating License DPR-67 for St. Lucie Unit 1. The amendments are shown on the attached Technical Specification pages bearing the date of this letter in the lower right hand corner.
This request modifies the time limit of Appendix A Technical Specification 4.7.6.1.1 from 10 days to 30 days within which the Beach Dune Survey results must be submitted to the Commission after completion of the survey. Due to logistics such as travel time, data analysis, typing and mailing time, it    is extremely difficult to meet the 10 day reporting requirement. The results of these surveys, which were initiated in 1976, have indicated that there has been no significant change on the beach or in the dune profiles during the last five years. On that basis, there does not seem to    be cause  for  such an extreme level of concern as would be  indicated  by the 10 day      requirement.
Since    we  presently have outstanding several Technical Specification proposals, it is    requested that this minor change be considered with our request of October 27, 1980 (L-80-354).

Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
