APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT NO. 8 TO THE MODEL NO. MAGNASTOR STORAGE CASK - DISCONTINUATION OF REVIEW
Dear Mr. Fowler:
As requested by your letter dated April 18, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18110A101), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is discontinuing its review of your amendment request dated June 23, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17179A382), as supplemented on July 5, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17206A077), for Amendment No. 8 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1031 for the Model No. MAGNASTOR storage system.
No further NRC work will be performed and EPID No. L-2017-LRM-0009 will be closed. This does not preclude or limit your resubmittal of this application. If you resubmit this amendment request, a complete revision, including all of the technical information identified in the request for additional information dated February 9, 2018 (ADAMS Accession No. ML18032A439),
