CENTRAL POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY's FIRST SET OF INTERROGATORIES AND REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS ADDRESSED TO THE CITY PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD OF SAN ANTONIO Central Power and Light Company (" CPL") through its attorneys and pursuant to Sections 2.740b and 2.741 of this Commission's Rules of Practice, propounds the follow-ing Interrogatories and Request for Production of Documents to the City Public Service Board of San Antonio ("CPSB").

CPL requests that the CPSB answer the Interrogatories herein within 14 days and produce the documents requested within 30 days.

Interrogatory No. 1:

For every month since and including June, 1977:

(a) Identify each electric utility which purchased coal-fired economy energy from the C3SB and the date during the month such purchase was made; (b) State the amount (in kilowatt-hours) of coal-fired economy energy which each such electric utility has purchased from the CPSB; (c) State the price at which the CPSB sold the coal-firad economy energy during the month; (d) State the total amount of coal-fired economy energy which the CPSB had available to sell; (e) State the tota.1 revenues received by the CPSB from sales of coal-fired economy energy; and (f) produce (i) all documents reflecting an offer by the CPSB to sell coal-fired economy energy and (ii) all docu-ments reflecting or relating to any other electric utility's response to any offer by the CPSB to sell coal-fired economy energy.

Interrogatory No. 2:

(b) State the amount (in kilowatt-hours) of energy which CPSB has sold to the Medina Electric Coop - South Texas Electric Coop ("MEC-STEC") under the Power Interchange and Sale Agreement ("The Agreement") during each month since the Agreemen.t was entered into; 1521 345

(c) State the price at which the CPSB has sold energy to MEC-STEC under the Agreement during each month since the Agreement was entered into; and (d) State the revenues received by the CPSB from MEC-STEC for sales of energy to MEC-STEC under the Agreement during each month since the Agreement was entered into.

(a) The total amount of electric energy transferred to, received from or exchanged with any other electric utility (excluding coal-fired economy energy and energy exchanged with MEC-STEC under the Agreement) in each month since July 1, 1974; (b) The other electric utility to, from or with which CPSB transferred, received or exci.anged such electric energy; (c) The total revenue received by CPSB or the total cost to CPSB of such transfer, receipt or exchange of elec-tric energy.
