Michigan State University Triga Rentor License R-114 Annual Report (Docket 50-294)
Dear Sir:
Pursiant to 10CFR50-59 the f4 Ilowing report is submitted:
- 1. During the operating period of January 1, to December 31, 1978 the following experiments were performed:
- a. 53 central thimble irradiations
- b. 724 rotary specimen rack Irradiations
- c. total operation of 1.12 megawatt-days
- 2. Records indicate Ar41 releases totalling 1422.7 pCi or en average release rate of 1.2 X 10 10 pCi/ml. In addi tion, appi o. ,cely 500 pCI of Br 82 were released.
3 Tank bottom deflection has been monitored regularly with no apparent change.
- 4. There were seven unscheduled scrams during the reporting period:
