Pursuant to 10CFR50.59 the following report is submitted:

During the period of January 1 to December 31, 1983, the following experiments were performed:
a.
1 central thimble irradiation b.
72 rotary specimen rack irradiations c.
total operation of 5166 kilowatt-hours 41

Ar release totaled 395.7 pCi or an average release rate of 3.4 x 10 pCi/ml. (0.85%.of MPC) 3.
There have been nn apparent changes in the tank bottiom.
4.
During the reporting period there were 5 unscheduled SCRAMS:
a) 3 period scrams due to operator error.
b) 5 period scrams caused by log recorder noise.

During 1983 there were 2 students in training for operator licenses.
Currently there are no trainees.
