- 1. During the period of January 1, 1985 to December 31, 1985, the following experiments were performed.
- a. 29 central thimble irradiations.
- b. 355 rotary specimen rack irradiations
- c. 4 pulse operations
- d. total reactor operation of 39325.32 kilowatt hours
- 2. 41Ar release during the period totaled 25.4 mci or an average release of 2.19 x 10-9 pCi/cc (5.5 MPC).
- 3. There have been no apparent changes in the tank bottom.
- 4. During the period there were 7 unscheduled scrams,
- a. 3 scrams due to linear recorder
- b. 2 linear recorder scrams due to operator error
- c. 2 scrams due to the period meter
- 5. During 1985 there was one student in training for an operator's license. He was licensed in July of 1985 as a Senior Operator.
