Dear Sir:
Pursuant to 10CFR50.59 the following report is submitted:
- 1. During the period of January 1 to December 31','1982, the following experiments were performed:
- a. 6 central thimble irradiations '1
'.b. -746 rotary specimen rack irradiations
- c. total operation of 0.712 megawatt-days 41Ar release totaled 1336.8 pCi or an average release rate of-
-2.
-10 1.2'x 10 C1/ml.
- 3. There have been no apparent changes in the tank bottom.
- 4. During the reporting period there were 25 unscheduled SCRAMS:
a) 17 linear recorder scrams caused by noise in the linear recorder b) 2 Linear recorder scrams due to operator error.
c) 4 log recorder scrams caused by log recorder noise.
- 5. There are currently three students in training for operator licenses.
