1.0 INTRODUCTION
By letter dated June 25, 2013 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML13176A405), Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.
submitted a License Amendment Request to revise the Site Emergency Plan (SEP) at the Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP). The proposed amendment would revise the PNP SEP to increase the staff augmentation response times for certain emergency response organization positions.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed the June 25, 2013, submittal and determined that the following Request for Additional Information (RAI) is needed to complete its technical review. If any part of this information is not available within the 30-day response period for this RAI, please provide the date that this information will be submitted.
2.0 ISSUE The proposed amendment would revise the Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP) Site Emergency Plan to increase the staff augmentation response times for certain emergency response organization positions.
