NOTICE OF EXPIRATION OF HIGHWAY ROUTE TO TRANSPORT SPENT NUCLEAR FUEL FROM MINERAL, VA, TO SCOVILLE, ID (NRC ROUTE NO. 218)
Dear Mr. Wade:
I am writing to inform you that U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Route No. 218 will expire on June 29, 2007. This approved route is for the transportation of spent nuclear fuel by highway from the North Anna Power Station, Mineral, Virginia, to the Idaho National Laboratory, Scoville, Idaho. Transporting spent nuclear fuel utilizing this route will no longer be approved after the expiration date stated above without a route approval renewal.
If you allow the current route approved to expire but intend to use this route in the future, please submit a request to renew the route approval at least 90 days before you intend to use the route.
