These inspections included eddy currenttest.g of the SG tubing as well as primary and secondary side cleanings and visual inspections. Thisreport documents the "Watts Bar UlRl4 180-Day Steam Generator Tube lnspection Report" as requiredby the WBN1 Technical Specifications. The original steam generators at WBNI were replaced in 2006 with Westinghouse Model 68AXP SGswhich have thermally treated Alloy 690 tubing. The UlRl4 inspection was the third in-service inspectionof the replacement SGs. Prior to the UlRl4 inspection, the replacement SGs had operated for seven (7)fuel cycles since replacement. The replacement SGs had operated for tbree (3) fuel cycles since theprevious inspection at UlRl l. There are eight specific reporting requirementsassociated with the Technical Specification. Each lettered reporting requirement listed below is followedwith the associated infonnation based on the inspections performed during U1R14.a. The Scope of the Inspections Performed on Each SGThe UlRl4 outage included a combination of bobbin and array coil inspections of 100% of thefull length in all in-service tubes except for tubes in Rows I through 4. Tube Rows I through 4were inspected to the frst support with the combination bobbin and array coil from both the hotleg tube end (HTE) and the cold leg tube end (CTE). The remainder of the tube length in Rows Ithrough 4 were inspected with a singular bobbin probe due to dimensional clearance restrictionsin the U-bend region. As a result, the inspection included all tubes with prior indications ofdegradation and all tubes not inspected during the previous SG in-service inspection. The tablebelow summarizes the number and type of eddy current examinations performed during UlR14.Table 2-1: Watts Bar U1R14 Steam Generator Eddy Current Inspection ScopeEddy Current Exam TVpesGlsG2sG3sG4Total0.610 tIL Bobbin & Array VS3-HTE5,1255,1235,1215,11420,4830.610 CL Bobbin & Array VS3-CTE5,1255,1235,1215,11420,4830.590 HLICL Bobbin (U-bend Region)t27t27t27t27s08In addition to the eddy current inspections, visual inspections were also performed on both theprimary and secondary sides. Primary side visual inspections included all previously installedtube plugs, the channel head bowl cladding, and the divider plate. Secondary side visualinspections were performed at the top of the tubesheet for the detection of foreign objects, assessment of hard deposit buildup in the tube bundle interior 'kidney region' and for determiningthe effectiveness of the tubesheet cleaning performed in all four SGs.b. Active Degradation Mechanisms FoundVolumetric wear was the only degradation mechanism detected during the UlRl4 inspection. Allof the wear indications detected were located at either U-bend or horizontal tube supportstructures. Number of Tubes Plugged During the Inspection Outage for Each Active DegradationMechanismThere were no tubes required to be plugged during the Watts Bar UlRl4 RSG in-serviceinspection. Table 2-9 below provides the numbers of tubes plugged for each degradationmechanism detected. This table also shows the numbers of tubes plugged before and after theUlRl4 outage as well as the percentage of tubes currently plugged.Table 2-92 Number of Tubes Plugged for Each Degradation Mechanismsclrscr2SG13SG14TotalPlugged Tubes prior to UlRl4357t429Plugged for U-bend Support Structure Wear00000Plugged for Horizontal Grid Wear00000Total Plugged to Date357t429Percentage Plugged to Date0.06%0.t0%0.r4%0.274/0a.r4%SG-SGMP-17-20Revision 0June 2017Page l8 of 19

: f. Total Number and Percentage of Tubes Plugged to DateTable 2-9 in the previous section provides the number and percentage of tubes plugged to date.g. The Results of Condition Monitoring, Including the Results of Tube Pulls and In-SituTestingTube InteerityA condition monitoring (CM) assessment was performed as required by the WBNI steamgenerator progfam. The only tube degradation detected during the U1Rl4 inspection was wear attube support structures. The deepest indication had an estimated depth of 37%Ttl from thebobbin probe exam and was located at a horizontal support grid. Conservatively assuming anenveloping flaw length slightly greater than the width of the support (2.0 inches), the CM limitfor horizontal support grid wear is 52%TW. This CM limit includes uncertainties for materialproperties, NDE depth sizing, and the burst pressure relationship. Since the deepest flaw has anestimated depth less than the conservatively determined CM limit, the stnrctural integrityperfonnance criterion was met for the operating interval prior to UlR14.Since volumetric wear indications will leak and burst at essentially the same pressure, accident-induced leakage integnty at a much lower accident pressure differential is also demonstrated.Operational leakage integrity was demonstrated by the absence of any detectable primary-to-secondary leakage during the operating interval prior to UlRl4. Since tube integrity wasdemonstrated analytically, in-sitr,r pressure testing was not required nor perfonned during theUlRl4 outage. No tube pulls were planned or performed during UlRl4.Visual Insoection ResultsVisual inspections were performed on both the primary and secondary sides during UlR14.Primary side inspections included visual inspections of all previously installed tube plugs as wellas the channel head bowl cladding and the divider plate. The installed tube plug inspectionsshowed no conditions indicative of improper installation or in-service degradation. The visualinspections of the channel head bowl cladding and the divider plate showed no visually apparentevidence of degradation of the cladding, divider plate, or divider plate welds.Prior to the secondary side foreign object search and retrieval (FOSAR) inspections, sludge, scale, foreign objects, and other deposit accumulations at the top of the tubesheet were removedas part of the top of tubesheet sludge lancing process. The secondary side FOSAR inspectionsperformed in all four SGs included visual examination of tube bundle periphery tubes from thehot leg and cold leg annulus and center no tube lane. A total of 6 foreign objects were removedfrom the top of the tubesheet region and 6 objects remain on the secondary side among the fourSGs. The foreign objects remaining are all small pieces of metal, wires, and bristles. Anyforeign objects not able to be retrieved were characteized and an analysis performed todemonstrate acceptability of continued operation without exceeding the performance criteria. Alimited top of tubesheet in-bundle visual inspection was also performed in each SG for thepurpose ofassessing and frending the level ofhardened deposit buildup in the kidney regron.h. The Effective Plugging Percentage for All Plugging in Each SGThere are no sleeves installed in the WBN1 replacement SGs. Therefore, the effective pluggingpercentage is the same as the plugging percentage shown in Table 2-9.SG-SGMP-17-20Revision 0June 2017Page 19 of 19

1.0      Introduction Inspections of the replacement steam generators (SGs) were perforrned during the Watts Bar Unit 1 (WBNI) spring 2017 refueling outage designated as (UlRl4). These inspections included eddy current test.g of the SG tubing as well as primary and secondary side cleanings and visual inspections. This report documents the "Watts Bar UlRl4 180-Day Steam Generator Tube lnspection Report" as required by the WBN1 Technical Specifications.
The original steam generators at WBNI were replaced in 2006 with Westinghouse Model 68AXP SGs which have thermally treated Alloy 690 tubing. The UlRl4 inspection was the third in-service inspection of the replacement SGs. Prior to the UlRl4 inspection, the replacement SGs had operated for seven (7) fuel cycles since replacement. The replacement SGs had operated for tbree (3) fuel cycles since the previous inspection at UlRl l. Figure l-l below provides the arrangement and location designation of the tube support structures for the WBN1 SGs.

2.0      180 Day Steam Generator Tube Inspection Report In accordance with WBNI Technical Specification Section 5.7.2.12, "Steam Generator Program", and Technical Specification Section 5.9.9, "Steam Generator Tube Inspection Report", this report documents the scope and results of the UlR14 SG inspections. There are eight specific reporting requirements associated with the Technical Specification. Each lettered reporting requirement listed below is followed with the associated infonnation based on the inspections performed during U1R14.
: a. The Scope of the Inspections Performed on Each SG The  UlRl4 outage included a combination of bobbin and array coil inspections of 100% of the full length in all in-service tubes except for tubes in Rows I through 4. Tube Rows I through 4 were inspected to the frst support with the combination bobbin and array coil from both the hot leg tube end (HTE) and the cold leg tube end (CTE). The remainder of the tube length in Rows I through 4 were inspected with a singular bobbin probe due to dimensional clearance restrictions in the U-bend region. As a result, the inspection included all tubes with prior indications of degradation and all tubes not inspected during the previous SG in-service inspection. The table below summarizes the number and type of eddy current examinations performed during UlR14.

Primary side visual inspections included all previously installed tube plugs, the channel head bowl cladding, and the divider plate. Secondary side visual inspections were performed at the top of the tubesheet for the detection of foreign objects, assessment of hard deposit buildup in the tube bundle interior 'kidney region' and for determining the effectiveness of the tubesheet cleaning performed in all four SGs.
: b. Active Degradation Mechanisms Found Volumetric wear was the only degradation mechanism detected during the UlRl4 inspection. All of the wear indications detected were located at either U-bend or horizontal tube support structures. Table 2-2 below shows the number of indications reported during the UlR14 inspection.

: g. The Results of Condition Monitoring, Including the Results of Tube Pulls and In-Situ Testing Tube Inteerity A  condition monitoring (CM) assessment was performed as required by the WBNI steam generator progfam. The only tube degradation detected during the U1Rl4 inspection was wear at tube support structures. The deepest indication had an estimated depth of 37%Ttl from the bobbin probe exam and was located at a horizontal support grid. Conservatively assuming an enveloping flaw length slightly greater than the width of the support (2.0 inches), the CM limit for horizontal support grid wear is 52%TW. This CM limit includes uncertainties for material properties, NDE depth sizing, and the burst pressure relationship. Since the deepest flaw has an estimated depth less than the conservatively determined CM limit, the stnrctural integrity perfonnance criterion was met for the operating interval prior to UlR14.
Since volumetric wear indications will leak and burst at essentially the same pressure, accident-induced leakage integnty at a much lower accident pressure differential is also demonstrated.
Operational leakage integrity was demonstrated by the absence of any detectable primary-to-secondary leakage during the operating interval prior to UlRl4. Since tube integrity was demonstrated analytically, in-sitr,r pressure testing was not required nor perfonned during the UlRl4 outage. No tube pulls were planned or performed during UlRl4.
Visual Insoection Results Visual inspections were performed on both the primary and secondary sides during UlR14.
Primary side inspections included visual inspections of all previously installed tube plugs as well as the channel head bowl cladding and the divider plate. The installed tube plug inspections showed no conditions indicative of improper installation or in-service degradation. The visual inspections of the channel head bowl cladding and the divider plate showed no visually apparent evidence of degradation of the cladding, divider plate, or divider plate welds.
Prior to the secondary side foreign object search and retrieval (FOSAR) inspections, sludge, scale, foreign objects, and other deposit accumulations at the top of the tubesheet were removed as part of the top of tubesheet sludge lancing process. The secondary side FOSAR inspections performed in all four SGs included visual examination of tube bundle periphery tubes from the hot leg and cold leg annulus and center no tube lane. A total of 6 foreign objects were removed from the top of the tubesheet region and 6 objects remain on the secondary side among the four SGs. The foreign objects remaining are all small pieces of metal, wires, and bristles. Any foreign objects not able to be retrieved were characteized and an analysis performed to demonstrate acceptability of continued operation without exceeding the performance criteria. A limited top of tubesheet in-bundle visual inspection was also performed in each SG for the purpose ofassessing and frending the level ofhardened deposit buildup in the kidney regron.
: h. The Effective Plugging Percentage for     All Plugging in Each SG There are no sleeves installed in the WBN1 replacement SGs. Therefore, the effective plugging percentage is the same as the plugging percentage shown in Table 2-9.

Each lettered reporting requirement listed below is followed with the associated infonnation based on the inspections performed during U1R14.

Table 2-1: Watts Bar U1R14 Steam Generator Eddy Current Inspection Scope Eddy Current Exam TVpe sGl sG2 sG3 sG4 Total 0.610 tIL Bobbin & Array VS3-HTE 5,125 5,123 5,121 5,114 20,483 0.610 CL Bobbin & Array VS3-CTE 5,125 5,123 5,121 5,114 20,483 0.590 HLICL Bobbin (U-bend Region) t27 t27 t27 t27 s08 In addition to the eddy current inspections, visual inspections were also performed on both the primary and secondary sides. Primary side visual inspections included all previously installed tube plugs, the channel head bowl cladding, and the divider plate. Secondary side visual inspections were performed at the top of the tubesheet for the detection of foreign objects, assessment of hard deposit buildup in the tube bundle interior 'kidney region' and for determining the effectiveness of the tubesheet cleaning performed in all four SGs.

b. Active Degradation Mechanisms Found Volumetric wear was the only degradation mechanism detected during the UlRl4 inspection. All of the wear indications detected were located at either U-bend or horizontal tube support structures. Table 2-2 below shows the number of indications reported during the UlR14 inspection.

e. Number of Tubes Plugged During the Inspection Outage for Each Active Degradation Mechanism There were no tubes required to be plugged during the Watts Bar UlRl4 RSG in-service inspection. Table 2-9 below provides the numbers of tubes plugged for each degradation mechanism detected. This table also shows the numbers of tubes plugged before and after the UlRl4 outage as well as the percentage of tubes currently plugged.

f. Total Number and Percentage of Tubes Plugged to Date Table 2-9 in the previous section provides the number and percentage of tubes plugged to date.

A limited top of tubesheet in-bundle visual inspection was also performed in each SG for the purpose ofassessing and frending the level ofhardened deposit buildup in the kidney regron.

h. The Effective Plugging Percentage for All Plugging in Each SG There are no sleeves installed in the WBN1 replacement SGs. Therefore, the effective plugging percentage is the same as the plugging percentage shown in Table 2-9.
