On May 30 - June 1, 2006, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed aninspection at your University of Wisconsin Nuclear Reactor Laboratory. The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on June 1, 2006, with you and other members of your staff.The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety andcompliance with the NRC's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. Theinspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified. In accordance with Section 2.390, "Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding," ofTitle 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter, its enclosure, and yourresponse (if any) will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC PublicDocument Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRC's AgencywideDocuments and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
