Docket No. 50-482: Notification of Readiness for Supplemental Inspection 92723

Dear Mr. Morris,

The Reference notified Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) of NRC plans to conduct Inspection Procedure 92723, Follow up Inspection for Three or More Severity Level IV Traditional Enforcement Violations in the Same Area in a 12-Month Period, due to the issuance of three Severity Level IV traditional enforcement violations associated with impeding the regulatory process within the preceding 12-month period. This inspection will be scheduled and completed once written notification of station readiness for the inspection is received.

The purpose of this letter is to notify the NRC that WCNOC is ready for the NRC to assess the effectiveness of actions taken to address the Severity Level IV non-cited violations. WCNOC conducted a mock inspection for the 92723 Inspection Procedure the week of April 27, 2020 and had subsequent reviews by industry experts.
