PROCEEDINGS CHAIR HANSON: So Good morning, before we begin todays discussion of the administrations short- and long-term domestic uranium strategy I call to order a commission affirmation session. Joining me are the other currently serving members of the Commission.
Mr. Acting Secretary, I believe we have one item for the Commission to affirm today. Would you please lead us through?
TOMAS E. HERRERA: Yes thank you. Todays item is SECY-23-0097 - Kairos Power, LLC (Hermes Test Reactor Construction Permit Application), Docket No. 50-7513-CP, Mandatory Hearing Decision.
The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order addressing the required findings of 10 C.F.R. §§ 50.35, 50.40 and 51.105(a) and the issues discussed at the uncontested hearing concerning the application of Kairos Power, LLC to construct a non-power test reactor facility at the East Tennessee Technology Park in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order that authorizes issuance of the construction permit. Would you please affirm your votes after I call your name?
