The meeting is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. EST in Salon I and II at the Miami Marriott Dadeland, 9090 South Dadeland Blvd. in Miami. The meeting is open to the public and NRC officials will be available to answer questions after the business portion of the meeting.

FPL submitted an application in June 2009 seeking approval to build and operate two Westinghouse AP1000 reactors at the site about 20 miles south of Miami near Homestead, Fla.
