NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has received six reports from its Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards. The reports, in the form of letters, provide comments on:

--Proposed generic letter regarding loss of reactor coolant inventory and associated potential for loss of emergency mitigation functions while in a shutdown condition.

--Proposed standard review plan sections and regulatory guides for risk-informed, performance-based regulation.

--Publication of proposed journal articles containing ROSA test data.

--NRC Office of Nuclear Regulatory research program to demonstrate the adequacy of the RELAP/MOD3 code to analyze AP600 passive plant behavior.

--Draft regulatory guide DG-1060, "FASB Standards For Decommissioning Cost Accounting."

--Draft regulatory guide DG-1067, "Decommissioning of Nuclear Power Reactors."
