By letter dated July 11, 2014 (Reference 1) PPL Susquehanna, LLC (PPL) submitted an application for approval of Indirect Transfer of Control of the Licenses for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2 in accordance with Section 184 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, 10 CFR 50.80, and 10 CFR 72.50. In the Application, PPL stated that it would inform the NRC when any designation of Talen Energy's directors is announced, and any subsequent changes in its directors and principal officers until the Transaction closes. PPL also stated that it would inform the NRC if any changes to the principal officers or managers of PPL Susquehanna listed in the Application occur prior to closing of the Transaction.

Upon completion of the Transactions, the Directors of Talen Energy are expected to be as follows:

Document Control Desk PLA-7256 Further, in addition to the Principal Officers of Talen Energy shown in Attachment 2 of the Application, Clarence J. Hopf, Jr. will serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Fossil and Hydro Generation Officer. Mr. Hopf is a U.S. citizen.

Regarding the Managers and Principal Officers of PPL Susquehanna shown on page 6 of the Application, Victor N. Lopiano has retired. He has been replaced on PPL Susquehanna's Board of Managers by Clarence J. Hopf, Jr., a U.S. citizen as indicated above.

There are no new regulatory commitments associated with this response.
