Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) operates the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant (Farley) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) in accordance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR 72.210. The requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using a cask for the storage of spent nuclear fuel. Accordingly, SNC provides the following registration information associated with two (2) HISTORM 100 spent fuel cask systems recently placed into storage.

License Nos.: NPF-2 and NPF-8 Cask Certificate: 72-1014, Amendment 11 Cask Model: HI-STORM 100S, Version B MPC Serial Number 576 574 Overpack Serial Number: 1230 1228 Number of Fuel Bundles: 32 32 Placed in Service: July 23, 2021 August 12, 2021 The addition of the above casks results in the following totals for the Farley ISFSI:
