Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) operates the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant (Hatch) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) in accordance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR 72.210. The requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using a cask for the storage of spent nuclear fuel. Accordingly, SNC provides the following registration information associated with two (2) HI-STORM 100 spent fuel cask systems recently placed into storage.

Cask Certificate: 72-1014, Amendment 9 R1 Cask Model: HI-STORM 1OOS, Version B MPC Serial Number: 507 Overpack Serial Number: 932 Number of Fuel Bundles: 68 Placed in Service: July 27, 2018 Cask Certificate: 72-1014, Amendment 9 R1 Cask Model: HI-STORM 1OOS, Version B MPC Serial Number: 508 Overpack Serial Number: 933 Number of Fuel Bundles: 68 Placed in Service: August 17, 2018
