Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant Registration of Spent Fuel Cask Use Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) operates the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant (Hatch)
Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) in accordance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR 72.210. The requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using a cask for the storage of spent nuclear fuel. Accordingly, SNC provides the following registration information associated with the HI-STORM 100 spent fuel cask systems recently placed into storage.
Cask Certificate: 72-1014, Amendment 9 R1 Cask Model: HI-STORM 1 OOS, Version B MPC Serial Number: 504 Overpack Serial Number: 929 Number of Fuel Bundles: 68 Placed in Service: June 23, 2017 The addition of the above casks results in the following totals for the Hatch ISFSI:
