The provisions of 10 CFR 72.48 allow licensees to make changes to the design of the independent spent fuel storage installation (ISFSI) and certified cask designs without prior NRC approval. The requirements of 10 CFR 72.48(d)(2) include a biennial report of changes implemented in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 72.48. The purpose of this report is to inform the NRC that Southern Nuclear Operating Company has not implemented any changes to the Edwin I.

Hatch Nuclear Plant ISFSI in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 72.48 for the reporting period of February 1, 2012, through February 1, 2014. Accordingly, no activities are required to be reported for this period.
