Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) operates the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant (FNP) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) in accordance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR 72.2 10. The requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(l)(ii) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using each cask for the storage of spent nuclear fuel. Accordingly, SNC provides the following registration information associated with the HI-STORM 100 spent fuel cask system placed into storage in the FNP ISFSI on August 25,2005.

Cask Certificate: 72-1014 Overpack Model: HI-STORM 100s Overpack Serial Number: 152 MPC Model: MPC-32 MPC Serial Number: 29 Total Cask Systems stored in the FNP ISFSI: 3 This letter contains no NRC commitments. If you have any questions, please advise.
