Dear Mr. Saverot:
By letter dated August 26, 2024 (see reference 1), Orano Federal Services LLC (Orano FS) submitted an amendment request to the BRR Package (Docket 71-9341), which included Revision 19 of the Safety Analysis Report (SAR). On January 15, 2025, the NRC issued Requests for Additional Information (RAIs) regarding the amendment request (see reference 2). Orano FS hereby submits response to the RAIs as provided in Enclosure 1.
Accompanying the RAI response, Orano FS submits Revision 20 of the BRR Package SAR (see Enclosure 2), which includes SAR revisions made in response to the NRC RAIs in reference 2. Revisions made to the SAR are marked with a change bar in the righthand margin. Of note, all pages show the updated current SAR Revision 20 in the header. To assist in evaluating the revised SAR, all SAR Revision 20 changes made are outlined and discussed in a change summary list (reference Enclosure 3). Unrelated to the RAI, minor changes to satisfy operational requests were also shown on the Rods-in-Tubes (RIT) SAR drawing 1910-01-05-SAR (see SAR Appendix 1.3.3).
