On November 21, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML24318C246), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an audit plan for the NRC stas review of Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Report 3002028675 (NP)/3002028674 (P),

LOCA[Loss of Coolant Accident] Analysis of Fuel Fragmentation, Relocation, and Dispersal [FFRD] for Westinghouse 2-Loop, 3-Loop and 4-Loop Plants - Proprietary, Evaluation of Cladding Rupture in High Burnup Fuel Rods Susceptible to Fine Fragmentation (collectively called ALS for LOCA Analysis of FFRD). Subsequent to issuance, EPRI determined that the audit plan contained proprietary information.

In response, the NRC sta withdrew the publicly available version and generated a non-proprietary version of the audit plan, which will be made public on February 7, 2025.

A proprietary version of the audit plan was placed in BOX. Kurshad Muftuoglu and Fred Smith were provided access to BOX.

In addition, the audit period was extended to January 31, 2025.
