NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING Licensee: Vistra Operations Company, LLC Facility: Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Docket No: 50-346 Date and Time: Thursday, August 29, 2024 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (EDT)
Location: Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center 14000 West State Route 2 Oak Harbor, OH 43449-9485
Purpose:
The NRC staff will host an in-person open house meeting to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Davis-Besse for 2023, as described in the 2023 annual assessment letter. During this meeting, The NRC will be available to respond to questions specific to the safety performance of the station and the NRCs role in ensuring safe plant operations.
NRC Attendees: Brian Towne, Senior Resident Inspector, Davis-Besse Russ Cassara, Resident Inspector, Davis-Besse James Beavers, Acting Chief, Reactor Projects Branch 2, Division of Operating Reactor Safety Others as designated Public Participation: This is an Information Meeting with a Question-and-Answer Session: The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues.
