SUMMARY

OF THE AUGUST 29, 2024, PUBLIC OUTREACH TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2023 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION On August 29, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (EDT), an open house information meeting was held by representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2023 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, and with general information on the NRC. The meeting was held at the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center in Oak Harbor, OH. The NRC representatives were available to discuss plant performance with members of the public.

Representatives from Vistra were also present at the event.

The NRC discussed their assessment of Davis-Besses performance during the public outreach.

The assessment information was documented in the February 28, 2024, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (ADAMS Accession Number ML24059A420). The presentation for this meeting is available in ADAMS, Accession Number ML24248A211. Members of the public were given the opportunity to ask questions of NRC staff.
