REVALIDATION RECOMMENDATION FOR THE JAPANESE CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL NO. J/2043/B(U)F-96, MODEL NO. JRF-90Y-950K PACKAGE (DOCKET NO. 71-3036)

Dear Mr. Richard W. Boyle:

By letter dated January 5, 2023 (ML230006A051), as supplemented on March 2, 2023 (ML23058A255), and May 11, 2023 (ML23136B145), the U.S. Department of Transportation requested our assistance in the review of the Model No. JRF-90Y-950K package as authorized by the Japanese Certificate of Competent Authority (JCCA) No. J/2043/B(U)F-96, and make a recommendation concerning the revalidation of the package for import and export use.

Based upon our review, the statements and representations contained in the application and its supplements, and for the reasons stated in the enclosed safety evaluation report, we recommend revalidation of the Japanese Certificate of Competent Authority No.

J/2043/B(U)F-96 for the Model No. JRF-90Y-950K package, with no additional conditions.
