In accordance with:the requirements of 10 CFR 50.7l(e) and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(6), Union Electric Company (Ameren Missouri) herewith submits Revision OL-26 to the Callaway Plant Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) (Standard Plant and Site Addendum), as well as Revision 18 to the Callaway Plant Technical Specification Bases (TS Bases). Pursuant to 10 CPR, 50.71(e), these revisions reflect all of the changes :r;nade to the plant during the period from submittal *of the last FSAR and TS Bases update (June 22, 2021) to 6 months prior to the date of this filing.

These documents are being transmitted in electronic format in accordance with the guidance of Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2001-05, dated January 25, 2001. With respect to the FSAR, redacted ~d non-redacted v~ions are maintained due to the inclusion of sensfrive unclassified, non safeguards information (SUNsn in the FSAR (as identified and affirmed in response to RIS 2015-17,

  • dated December 23, 2015). Two CD-RO Ms ~e therefore provided with this submittal. One *CD ROM provides a public/redacted copy of the Callaway Plant FSAR. A second CD-ROM provides a copy of the nonpublic/redacted portions of the Callaway Plant FSAR, which includes SUNSI material that should be ~thheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(l).

In addition,to the updated FSAR and TS Bases, the enclosed CD-ROM includes the-Callaway Plant Operating License, and Technicaj Specifications for Callaway Plant updated through December 27,

2022. Also included are "FSAR Change Log" and "TS Bases Change Log" files that provide information on the PSAR Change Notices that were incorporated into PSAR Revision OL-26 and the TS Bases Change Notices that were incorporated into TS Bases Revision 18 respectively.

In connection with this update, and in light of Callaway Plant's renewed Operating License, a review of changes subject to inclusion per 10 CPR 54.3 7(b) was performed for the. period of December :22, 2020, through May 30, 2022: The review did not find any newly identified systems, structures, or components that would have been subject to an aging management review or evaluation of time-.

Ameren Missouri recognizes* that the due date for this submittal per 10 CPR 50. 71 ( e ),.based upon

  • startup from Callaway's most recent refueling outage, was November 30, 2022. The discrepancy in submittal timeliness has been entered into the plant's corrective action program.
