HUMBOLDT BAY POWER PLANT, UNIT 3 - ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO. 46 RE: LICENSE TERMINATION PLAN (EPID: L-2021-LLA-0021)
Dear Mr. Welsch:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission) has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 46 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-7 for the Humboldt Bay Power Plant, Unit 3 (HBPP). The amendment consists of changes to the HBPP license in response to your application dated February 8, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession No. ML21039A515), as supplemented by letters dated April 29 (ADAMS Accession No. ML21119A214) and May 20, 2021 (ADAMS Accession No. ML21140A395).
Specifically, the amendment revises the HBPP license by revising License Condition 2.C.5.
This license condition incorporates the revised License Termination Plan into the HBPP license.
All other aspects of the license remain the same.
A copy of the related safety evaluation is also enclosed. Notice of issuance will be included in the Commissions monthly Federal Register notice.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
