Advanced Reactor Generic Environmental Impact Statement Governor Talachy In you email below you asked, Where is this reactor being proposed to be built?

The Advanced Nuclear Reactor Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) does not evaluate individual license applications, but evaluates the potential environmental impacts of an advance reactor sited anywhere in the United States that meets NRC regulations. The GEIS does not authorize the construction or operation of an advanced reactor or identify a specific site location. Individual license applications will identify the proposed reactor's location and the NRC staff can reference the GEIS analysis when developing an environmental review for the specific license application. We will also contact potentially interested tribes when we receive individual advance nuclear reactor license applications in the future. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
