Gentlemen:
Paragraph 2.c.(7) of the racility operating License requires the approved PSMS verification and Validation (V&V) plan to be implemented before start-up after the second refueling outage.
Actions required by this license condition, including resolution of the four discrepancies committed in our July 7, 1989 letter, are completed.
Attachment 1 to this letter contains a brief summary of past correspondence on this subject.
Paragraph 2.c.(9) of the license requires that SPDS items identified in the Amendment No.
16 Safety Evaluation are to be implemented before start-up from the second refueling outage.
These items, as well as those resulting from Generic Letter 89-06, are now implemented.
Attachment 2
provides a
brief chronology of this subject.
