ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT -
SPENT FUEL P0OL EXPANSION (TAC NO. 68157)
By letter dated June 24, 1988, as supplemented by letters dated July 29, August 12, and December 2, 1988 and February 14, March 1, March 22, and April 10,1989, Northeast Nuclear Energy Company requested a license amendment to make an addition to the Technical Specifications relating to the maximum storage capacity of the spent fuel pool.
Enclosed is our Environmental Assessment related to this proposed action.
Based on our assessment, we'have concluded that there are no significant radiological or nonradiological impacts associated with the proposed spent fuel pool expansion and it will have no significant impact on the quality of the human environment.
. We have also enclosed a Notice of Issuance of Environmental Assessment and Finding Of No Significant Impact. This Notice is being forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
