April 10,1939. NNECO consnitted to address the issue in item (1). _ This additional 1-change to the TS should be issued prior to tne next scheduled refueling or 1-t cutage requiring the reactor to be de-fueled.

In the meantime, a procedure should be developed to ensure that the K-eff recuirement for toe.new racks is being mer by using the litit curves.

A copy of the related Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.

An environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact was previously published in the Federal Register.
