On April 5, 1970, the Scenic Shoreline Preservation Con-ference, Inc., an intervenor, requested the reopening of the
!l record of this proceeding.
In support of its request, the inter-

venor alleged the existence of new seismic information affecting the design criteria of Diablo Unit No. 2.
On April 20, 1970, the Board was advised that the Atomic Energy Commission, through its regulatory staff, was undertaking further investigations of the intervenor's allegation On May 7, 1970, the regulatory staff advised the Board and the parties that its investigation revealed no basis for ch I
anging its conclusion on the adequacy of the seismic design criteria.
Subsequently, information on its additional investigations was submitted to the Board and the parties.
Inasmuch as proper pro-cedure requires that the additioral information submitted by the regulatory staff'be officially incorporated into the record of this proceeding and be subject to cross-examination by the parties the Board hereby orders the reopening of the record and a continu ti a
