Ct.INTON SAFETEAM INSPECTION This is in follow-up to your memo of February 13, 1986, regarding the inspection of the Clinton SAFETEAM performed by Gwynn, Weil, and Schapker.
1 As agreed in discussions with you, the concerns documented in the inspection I
s report were discussed by Pat Gwynn with Mr. Haab, Illinois Powers' Vice President with responsibility for the SAFETEAM.
Haab had already developed a plan to address all but one of our concerns (referring allegations of wrongdoing to responsible authorities.) During tFe discussion, Mr. Haab comitted to address the remaining concern.
The above actions are documented in the cover letter of the inspection report. The licensee's actions were to i
be completed by March 15, 1986. We will follow-up to see that the NRC i
concerns are satisfactorily resolved. The 23 concerns are being carried as an open item on the NRC outstanding items list.
