i PRESTRESSED CONCRETE CONTAINMENT STRUCTURES Attached for your information is a copy of an exchange of correspond-ence between the Bechtel Corporation and DRS. Bechtel expresses its frustration at the continued stream of AEC questions regarding the design of prestressed concrete contairament structures and concludes by saying it is considering reverting to conventional reinforced concrete designs. DRS attributes many of its questions to the lack of accepted standards for prestressed building design.
