DOCKETING OF 251 GESSAR, PROJECT NUMBER STN-538
Reference:
Letter, A. Giambusso, Directorate of Licensing, to I. F. Stuart, General Electric Company, dated October 18, 1974 Dear Mr. Case On August 30, 1974, the General Electric Company. filed the 251 General Electric Standard Safety Analysis Report (251 GESSAR) for review and approval under the Commission's standardization program.
The 251 GESSAR was accepted for preliminary review on September 3, 1974, and assigned project number STN-538.
Based on that review, the Commission concluded that additional information in the electrical, instrumentation and controls areas would be required for docketing.
The required information consisted of the resolu-tion of inconsistencies and the addition of elementary diagrams for the I-s C systems.
Amendments 1 and 2 of the 251 GESSAR, transmitted to the Commission on December 13, 1974, resolved the inconsistencies delineated in question 220.1 of the subject letter in addition to responding to other questions in the referenced letter.
Enclosed please find three original copies of Amendment No. 3 to the 251 GESSAR; twelve conformed copies are transmitted under separate cover. Amendment No. 3 amends-the 251 GESSAR by responding

the providing of the elementary drawings requested in question 220.1.
