1960 Westinghouse Waltz Mill Incident - FOIA Request in approximately 1960, a mechanical failure of a nuclear fuel rod in a test reactor vessel caused radiopctive . contamination in and around the Westinghouse Waltz Mill plant in Westmoreland County, Pa. ,

Under FOIA, I r_eguest any and all documents related to reporting and remediation of the initial incident, the 1967 removal of nuclear fuel _~;

from the reactor vessel, soll and water surveys and tests conducted -

beginning in 1993,as well as remediation plans filed by Westinghouse  :-

with NRC in approximately 11/97, . .
