Dr. Zinovy Reytblatt Associate Professor Department of Mathematics Illinois Institute of Technology IN RESPONSE REFER Chicago, IL 60616 TO F01A-86-20

Dear Dr. Reytblatt:

This is in response to your letter dated July 11, 1986, regarding NRC's response to your Freedom of Information Act (F0IA) request F01A-8G-20.

Under F01A-86-20, by letter dated December 19, 1985, you requested a list of records which you stated are with Messrs. Bernero and Shapaker and Region III regarding DD-85-10 and your meeting on October 17, 1985, and Mr. Bernero's review of the transcript of October 17, 1985.

By letter dated April 25, 1985, we provided lists of records identified by those named in your letter and informed you that there is no written record of Mr. Bernero's review of the transcript.

In both your June 3 and July 11 letters regarding our letter dated April 25, 1986, you stated that there are many records in the NRC's possession that were not included on the lists provided with our letter.

Your letters provided descriptions of three categories of records which you state are missing. However, we can take no action on your letters. The letters appear to be attempts to broaden the scope of F01A-86-20 to matters not covered by that request and to matters covered by other F0IA requests you previously submitted to NRC. However, the letters do not sufficiently describe specific subjects not covered by this request or other previous requests to enable the staff to conduct a search.

As I noted in my June 30 letter, if you wish to submit another F0IA request for additional records not previously requested, we will consider processing such a request.

Sincerely, ll. . '
