This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. J. F. Donahue and J. P. Patterson of this office on May 6 - 9, 1974, of activities authorized by AEC Special Nuclear Materials License No. SNM-ll74 and to the discussion of our findings with you and Messrs. Reading, Janka and Welch at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an emination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to physical protection of the plant site and special nuclear naterials and to compliance with the Co=dssion's Rules and Regulations and conditions of your lizznse. The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel and observatiens by the inspectors.
In addition to the above areas, the inspectors -reined actione described in your letter of April 29, 1974, which was in reply to our letter of April 12, 1974. Full implementation was acco=plished on Items No.1 and No.'2.
Corrective action on Item Ja.-3-ie-eti14-outstanding and it is discussed further in the enclosure to this letter.
During the current inspection, it was found that certain of your activ-ities appear to be in violation of AEC require =ents.
The items and reference to the pertinent requirements are listed in the enclosure to this letter.
