NOTICE OF DEPOSITION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to 10 CFR S 2.740a, Suffolk County, by its attorneys, will take the deposition upon oral examination of Roger Kowieski on the subject areas of his duties and responsibilities as the former Chairman of the FEMA Region II Padiological Assistance Committee, including his duties l
and responsibilities in connection with his assignment ~as an
" oversight evaluator" during the February 13, 1986 Exercise of s
the LILCO Offsite Emergency Plan for Shoreham (the " Exercise"),
and any other participation he may have had in connection with:
(a) the Exercise; and, (b) his participation in or observation of any events or occurrences concerning the LILCO Plan and/or the Exercise thereof occurring before, on, or after February 13, 1986.
Such deposition will be taken before a Notary Public, or before some other authorized officer, at 1900 M Street, N.W.,

20036 beginning at 9:00 o' clock a.m.
on the 17th day of November, 1986, and continuing on the follow-ing day at the same time and from day to day thereafter until the examination is completed.
Mr. Kowieski is instructed to bring with him any notes, logs, summaries or other documents in his possession and/or control concerning the Exercise, its results, its evaluation, or any recommendations arising therefrom, whether prepared prior to, during, or subsequent to the Exercise.
