2.0 -REQUIREMENTS' O.

1 Technical Specification Requirements:

2.1 - ' Section 15.4, Table 15.4.1-1, Items 1,4;5,6',7,8,11, and 12.

3.0~ CONDITIONS.

'May be performed at any plant power from cold shutdown =to full power.

Initials 5.1 Obtain DSS permission to start test. DSS reviews Steps 4.6 and'4.7 under " PRECAUTIONS" with technician and determines whether precautions apply-,

(DSS) 5.2 Train "A" 5.2.1 Preliminary - Verify the following relays are energized:

RT-1 RT-7 RC-1 RT-2 RT-8 RC-2 RT-3 RT-9 RC-3 RT-4 RT-10 RC-4 RT-5 RT-11 RT-6 RT-12 Checkoff 5.2.2 Put the "A" train bypass breaker in the test position.

5.2.3 Close the "A" train bypass breaker using the local breaker control pushbutton.

5.2.4 open the "A" train bypass breaker from the Train "B" logic test panel. Verify this locally at the "A" train bypass breaker.

5.2.5 Insert bypass breaker "A" and verify the breaker open on the Train "B" logic test panel and in the control room.

5.2.7 AFTER VERIFYING THE "A". BYPASS BREAKER CLOSED, SHUT THE-"B" LOGIC TEST PANEL DOOR.

5.2.8 'OPEN THE "A" LOGIC TEST PANEL DOOR AND BEGIN "A" TRAIN LOGIC TESTS.

5.2.9 Turbine trip - auto stop (Train "A")

e. Open the cell cubicle at the reactor trip switchgear containing the auto shunt trip panel "A."
f. Depress the "A" train " shunt block" push-button and hold.
g. Depress the "A" train " shunt trip" push-butten and verify that the "A" train trip

(: breaker does not trip'.

h. Release the " shunt. trip" pushbutton only.

Hold the " shunt block" pushbutton in-the depressed position.

i. At the Train "A" logic test panel, make up trip combination with switches S2 and S3.
j. Verify that the "A" train reactor trip breaker opens by observing the breaker position lamps on the main control board 1C04 (2C04).

.the main control board IC04 (2C04).

1. Release the " shunt block" pushbutton.
m. Depress the "A" train " shunt trip" push-button momentarily. Close the cell cubicle containing the auto shunt trip panel "A."

- n. Verify that the "A" train reactor trip breaker opens by observing the breaker position lamps on the main control board IC04 (2C04).

o. Test the following trip combinations:

5.2.29 Have a operator clear the above alarms.

5.2.30 Verify the following relays are energized for

5.2.31 Condact a continuity check of the following auxiliary feedwater pump auto start relays if they are deenergized. Test points are located on the logic test panel.

LCAA TP1 to 'cmmon N320 ohms LCBA TP2 to Lommon N320 ohms 5.2.32 Close reactor trip breaker "A" from the main control board.

5.2.33_ Open bypass breaker "A" from the Train "B" logic test panel.

5.2.34 Place bypass breaker "A" in the pullout position.

RT-1 RT-7 RC-1 RT-2 RT-8 RC-2 RT-3 RT-9 RC-3 RT-4 RT-10 RC-4 RT-5 RT-11 RT-6 RT-12 5.3.2 Put the "B" train bypass breaker in the test position.

5.3.3 Close the "B" train bypass breaker using the local breaker control pushbutton.

5.3.4 Open the "B" train bypass breaker from the Train "A" logic test panel. Verify this locally at the "B" train bypass breaker.

5.3.5 Insert bypass breaker "B" and verify the breaker open on the Train "A" logic test panel and in the control room.

5.3.6 Close bypass breaker "B" from the train "A" logic test panel. Verify this on the Train "A" logic test panel and in the control room.

5.3.7 APTER VERIFYING THE "B" BYPASS BREAKER CLOSED, SHUT THE "A" LOGIC TEST PANEL DOOR.

5.3.8 OPEN THE "B" LOGIC TEST PANEL DOOR AND BEGIN THE "B" TRAIN LOGIC TESTS.

5.3.9 Turbine trip - auto stop (Train "B")

m. Depress the "B" train " shunt trip" push-button momentarily. Close the cell cubicle containing the auto shunt trip panel "B."
n. Verify that the "B" train reactor trip breaker opens by observing the breaker position lamps on the main control board 1C04 (2C04).

5.3.31 Conduct a continuity check of the following checkoff auxiliary feedwater pump auto start relays if they are deenergized. Test points are located on the logic test panel.

5.3.33 Open bypass breaker "B" from the Train "A" logic test panel.
