REGULATORY GUIDE 1.97 MODIFICATION SCHEDULE (TAC 63135)

Re:

Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, Unit 2 By letter dated October 6,1986, Commonwealth Edison Company (CECO) provided NRC staff with an updated schedule for facility modifications related to Regulatory Guide 1.97 for Quad Cities Unit 2.

These modifications were understood to be completed during the October 1986 refueling outage.

NRC staff has reviewed the revised modification completion schedule and implementation strategy and finds the changes acceptable. CECO must note the NRC staff considers these modifications important and is expecting implementa-tion in accordance with the October 6, 1986 proposed dates.
