"I' PROGRESS REPORT # 11 This report covers our ac tivit'ies through April 7 1982 with regard to our Independent Quality Assurance Audits and Reviews of the Diablo Canyon Unit 1 Plant.
The Phase I QA Programs for PG&E and the six major design subcontractors noted in previous reports have been completed.
The design chain is to be reviewed to determine whether or not any other design subcontrac-tors should be included in the Phase I effort.
In addition the following activities have occurred:
(1)
We attended a Phase I Program aview meeting with the NRC staff on March 25, 1982 in Bethesda, MD.
(2)
On March 26,
- 1982, we met with TELEDYNE ENGINEERING SERVICES, R.
L. CLOUD ASSOCIATES, and STONE WEBSTER in the WESTINGHOUSE offices in Bethesda.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the continuation of the Phase I
Program under the Program Management of TES.
Also interfaces and methods of operation were discussed.

On April 1, 1982 we met with the NRC staff in Bethesda to discuss the Phase'I QA Audit and Review Reports.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the approach, the criteria used and the meaning of the results of the QA Audits and Reviews.
