SECY-85 REVIEW OF L -775 AND ALAB-775A (IN THE MATT R F PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMP Y)
This is to advise you that the Commission (with Commissioner Asselstine disapproving) has approved your recommendation not to take review of ALAB-775 and 775A. Accordingly, the time allowed for the Commission to decide to take review was allowed to expire on February 26, 1985.
Commissioner Asselstine, in disapproving, stated that:
I "I would take review. I think we ought to ask the Board to explain the bases for its decision in more detail. The decision as it now stands is a little short on explanation. Also, I don't think the Board should have considered the two types of character and competence evidence separately."
