RESOLUTION OF APPENDIX P ISSUES IN NUREG-0797 SUPPLEMENT NO.11 As you are aware Texas Utilities Electric Company (TVEC), in their Comanche. I Peak Response Team (CPRT) Program Plan, has comitted to addressing and resolving the generic concerns expressed by the NRC Technical Review Team (TRT) as presented in NUREG-0797 Supplement No. 11 Appendix P. We have

' recently learned that TUEC is.in the process of resolving issues identified -

in Appendix P.

1 I would like Teledyne Engineering Services (TES) to follow TUEC's implementa-tion of the CPRT Plan with particular attention to the applicant's method of resolution of the concerns.in Appendix P (40 concerns in Mechanical / Piping and 34 concerns in Civil / Structural). Your contacts at the NRC CP Project will be S. Nien Hou for M/P and D. Jeng for C/S. The purpose of your review is to i

assure that TUEC is responding properly to the concerns expressed in Appendix i

P, and has detemined the root cause and and address the generic implications-of each concern. Teledyne should assign a lead engineer to this task and l

identify this individual to me by December 23, 1985.
