Docket No. 50-285 2.

Letter from OPPD (R. L. Andrews) to NRC (W. A. Paulson) dated March 31, 1987 (LIC-87-196)

Dear Mr. Paulson:

SUBJECT:

Technical Specifications for Post-Accident Monitoring Instrumentation Per a recent telephone conversation with OPPD, it was noted that Section 2.21 of the Technical Specifications (both existing and proposed) contain reference to submittal of special reports pertaining to inoperable channels of post-accident monitoring instrumentation. However, the requirement was not added to the list of items requiring Special Reports in Specification 5.9.3.

Accordingly, a change page to Technical Specification 5-15 is attached for inclusion in the request for Technical Specifications Amendment submitted by Reference 2.

Sincerely, W
