.Attachmsnt to U-601245-CHALLENGES TO MAIN STEAM SAFETY / RELIEF VALVES Month July 1988 The following. Safety / Relief Valves (S/RVs) were used for pressure control following a Reactor Scram on 7/12/88. The valves were cycled in the following order 1B21F047F, 41F, 51B, 41B, 47B, 51D, 47D, 41D, 47A, 41A, 51G,'41L. Only one valve was open at a time. The valves were cycled for vessel pressure control between 0545 7/12/88 and 0745 7/12/88 af ter a group 1 isolation (MSIV's Shut) . The valves were reseated between 800-900 psig.

-INSTRUCTIONS On this form, list the average daily unit power level in MWe-Net for each day in the reporting month. Compute to the nearest whole megawatt.

-These figures will be used to plot a graph for each reporting month. Note that when maximum dependable capacity is used for the net electrical rating of the unit, there may be occasions when the daily average power level exceeds the 100% line (or the restricted power level line). In such cases, the average daily unit power output sheet should be footnoted to explain the apparent anomaly.
