We have reviewed the draft NRC Acquisition Regulation. Prior'to submitting i the rule to the Rules and Directives Branch for publication, the document !
needs the following:
- 1. Document headings.
- 2. Preamble, including a supplementary information section that describes I the content of the rule and its intended effect. i
-3. Standard statements that indicate the rule's compliance with statutory and Commission 3rocedural requirements, including NEPA. Paperwork Reduction Act. Regulatory Flexibility Act. Backfit waiver. List of Subjects. and words of issuance.
- 4. Amendatory instructions.
- 5. Signature b.ock.
Additionally, when preparing the rule in final form, it should be single-spaced and all "line-in/line-out" markings should be removed. These items are consistent with the sample documentation that my staff previously provided to your staff.
