REQUEST FOR OFFICE COMMENTS AND CONCURRENCE l
ON THE PROPOSED RULE ENTITLED, " NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ACQUISITION REGULATION" in response to P. Norry's memorandum of August 14,1997, AEOD has reviewed the subject proposed rule and concurs with the following comments:
1.
Pages 6 and 7. Ratification of unauthorized commitments: In paragraph (a), it states that all ratifications must be approved by the Director, DCPM. In paragraph (2) it indicates this approval should be made by the Competition Advocate, DC.
2.
Page 67, Technical Progress report, first paragraph: Financial Identification Number should be changed to job code.
3.
Pages 69 and 71, paragraph (4): Suggest the first sentence be changed to *In the final financial status report..."
4.
Page 73, Part 11, DPV Procedure, paragraph (a): Division of Contracts and Prooerty Management 5.
Page 80, Key Personnel, paragraph (c), last sentence: Suggest that consultation with the NRC Project Officer be ir.cluded.
6.
Page 86, (d) Cost proposal, paragraph (1),3rd sentence: Suggest " predicted" be changed to predicated.
