This request is made under the Freedom of Information Act. 5 USC 552.

Please send me copies of any document in the NRC's files providing information about the foreign and domestic travels on official business of Harold Denton, the NRC's director of Government and Public Affairs.

I am requesting to be included in the copies: travel vouchers, reimbursement checks and vouchers, itineraries, lettera, memoranda, and any other documents in the NRC files that mention any trip, either abroad, or within the U.S. that Mr. Denton has taken in the last two years.

Also, ph.ase include any memos written to, or by. Mr. Denton as a result of his trnw is or those written before he left.

As you know, the FOI Act provides that if portions of thedocuments are exempt from release, the remainder may be segregated and disclosed. So please send me all non-exempt portions of the documents I have requested.

I promise to pay reasonable search and duplication fees. However, if the fees exceed $50, please notify me by telephone so I can arrange paysent.

I also ask that you vaive search and duplication fees because of cy intent to use the information as the basis of a planned artcile. I am a journalist whose stories appear in Gannett newspapers nationwide and the information is of a timely value.
